Nice looking build and weathering. Only two comments, the grey is a light, German Grey is a lot darker, and as for the diorama, the snow effect is great, but the weight of the Tiger would have it sinking a little deeper into the snow.
Overall, great diorama and Tiger, thanks for sharing.

Looks great, don't know what adjustments you made but the end result is very nice. I agree with Kevin, German grey is fairly dark, but maybe it is just the process of lighting for the photos? I say that because some of the photos seem to show the gray a bit darker. At any rate, it all looks really good to my eye!

Hi Luca. Very nice rendition of this model. I wont talk about colours as some modellers play with after preferences and artistic reasons. I would agree with Keving though that the main fault in this is the weight of the Tiger .... at 60 odd ton, it should sit more in the ground and soft snow.
Otherwise, the snowy groundwork and figures look great. I also really like the Tiger and the winter camo. Good job.

I agree about the weight issue but the rest of this is superb brother!! I really like the figgies the best. Wonderful painting.

The gray was made using the AK set, and considerind the high variations of RAL german color I think it's quite good.
For what concerns the weight, it may be questionable, but frankly speaking I have checked a lot of pictures, and the conclusion is that the tiger tanks didn't sink much in the snow under most of weather conditions.
I think was first for the large tracks and second because at very low temperatures snow is harder than ground.
What do you think ?

I'm going to have to agree with the other comments, concerning German grey. Germany's colors, during WWII, were pretty standardized. It may have been painted a lighter shade by the crew, but to imagine that they painted the entire tank is a stretch. I find Tamiya's German Grey acryl to be a very close match to the actual gray used.

Ah, the ol' color debate. This can go on forever, and in truth there never really is a right answer to it. If you want my opinion, it looks good enough to me that I didnt notice notice its shade.
As for the snow, I think you proved your point with the pics you posted. I often fin that things in real life dont actually follow the laws we think they do!
I really like the figures, but I was looking for a bullet wound on the Russian soldier. The only question I have is why is he on the ground in pain? It doesnt look like he has been shot or hit with shrapnel. Your figures are beutifully painted, by the way

Thanks. For the color, I can only say that I relied on AK Mig Jimenez set of colors. Maybe that a darker grey would have been closer to the real shadow, but probably would have flattened a lot the tank...
I will also add some blood on the snow, under the russian soldier, to simulate a wound in the back.

Very nice, like how you got the brush to poke out from the snow. Makes it look like there's really snow on the ground and not just baking soda.

it's amazing how people love to nit pick and give negative comments to a very nice, well done diorama. Tank looks great, weathered beaten vehicles tend too fade and the ground during the winter months freeze up. Ground almost becomes concrete.... Take these negative comments and throw them out my friend, dio is awesome!
