Hi,
I understand that Fallschirmjäger, as a sort of a prelude to Crete, assaulted the bridge over the Corinth Canal end of april 1941 - they failed because the bridge exploded anyway, and engineers had to build a new one.
Nevertheless they secured the area, and were finally relieved by, supposedly according to the books, the 5th Panzer Division : is this true, can somebody confirm this ? Any photos ?
In that case I suppose I could safely build a diorama of Fallschirmjäger and a Pz III or IV, they would have been seen together ? What are your opinions, suggestions ?
Dragon has both the Pz III ausf E and the Pz IV ausf D with decals for 31st regt of the 5th Pz div, both with the red devils head insignia, so this could be rather attractive ...
