Could you describe what that cristal cleaner is? Is it ammonia or some sort of window cleaner?

Based on where he is from (Spain) I believe the cleaner in question is in fact a variety of window cleaner.

That's kind of what I gathered but wasn't sure. Wouldn't window cleaner damage the previous layers?
