I imagine people hate seeing these posts over and over, but I am trying to decide between these two models and am looking for personal stories of triumph or disgust with them to help me decide.
Thanks and sorry (if it's poor form to ask)

I do not know about those two, but, I use the Aztec 470 and it has done everything I have asked it to do. I build tanks and planes and it serves both well.

Never get tired of questions! No matter how many times it's asked.
I use the Aztec too. But, I personally got a chance to try the Iwata and loved it. I had a Badger years ago and as I recall it was so so.

Hehe, I asked the exact same question a few weeks back! The forum (well, those who replied, anyhow) unanimously voted the Iwata the better airbrush - but there's a strong case for the Badger at the finescale.com forums here: http://www.finescale.com/fsm/community/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=8535
For beginners (like me) the Iwata is better - simpler operation and fewer parts and mechanism to break. But if you have more experience, the Badger seems to be more flexible - and has cheaper parts to boot.
In the end I decided to get the Iwata - but my dad messed up the order and got a Passche-VL instead #:-) Ah well....

Hi there
I haven't used a Badger 360, but I've had a Badger 175T Crescendo for years.
I recently switched to an Iwata Eclipse BS, which is really in a different league...
With due respect to "blank", I wouldn't call the Iwata a beginners' airbrush. It's a much finer instrument than the Crescendo - and the price reflects this.
The real answer is - don't take anyone's word for it. An airbrush is a really "personal" tool(one man's meat etc...). If at all possible, try the Badger, Iwata and Aztec out (and don't forget Paasche and the others...) before you make a final decision.
All the best

Thank you everyone for your answers. I am leaning towards the Iwata, but an now having the frustration of no one in town carrying either one to "get the feel of it." I will probably just order it from bearair or something and take my chances with the return policy.

I have the Badger 360 and have been happy with it so far. I really like the ability to swivel the front to use a bottle or gravity fed cup whichever is appropriate. It's easy to clean and disassemble and the needle is fairly durable.....I have a habit of bending needles!....but not this one.

This seemed like the big plus of this one to me, but as I thought about it I realized that I could just use my Badger 350 that I have now when ever I need bottle feed and greater coverage and the "new one" I get could be used for details and to waste less paint. The 360 is still tempting though.

Hi again
The gravity-feed cup on the Eclipse BS is big enough for any job I do... and the one on the CS is bigger still - so I wouldn't worry on that score.
All the best
