Btw, who is doing the gun? I searched but couldn't find any replacement.

I thought both RB Model and Aber had a similar gun in their assortment. But upon checking I saw it was KwK30 and not KwK35. Plus the length differs from L45 to L50. Still its the closest you are going to get with what is commercially available.
I' m planning to buy either of those and built it. It will definately come closer then the plastic offering.

ok, maybe I am wrong but the kit is missing all hinges - doors, hatches, everything....
Posted: Friday, February 01, 2013 - 11:36 AM UTC
Nope the hinges are there but you have to attach them separately. They are delivered as strips that you have to cut to size yourself. They are on the sprues that also have the driveshafts. You could have known this as I mentioned in the review that the kit also has the bulky hinges as on the real vehicle.

yes, I found them too now... otherwise I started the build and the parts fit is not as what I am used to. Reminds me of Alby.

No yet started but I'm looking forward to it.
Thanks for the mention on the built. I personally look forward to it. Even if some parts might be a bit on the large side or soft on detail. I have seen much much worse. Then again. I like to built old Schmidt Vacu Forms every now and then. Believe me... it puts "Ill fit" in a totally new perspective. Even the worst Eastern Block kit will look like DML's latest offering after that.

Dark coloured parts smell bad when Tamiya glue applied on them.

Thanks for pointing that out. Will keep the window open when I start on this kit
