Very realistic scene - the rooftop looks great and the figures seem to be pretty awesome, too.
Do you perhaps have more details pictures of the soldiers?
Cheers

Lots of activity. Great job on the figures! My eye keeps getting drawn to the sniper. Which figures did you use? The tower is excellent!

A very nice idea to have the rooftop as the main diorama area.. and very good execution of the idea.

Very nice. Even an open lens cap on the M21. Very nice, indeed!

I'm about as far as you can get from being a modern themed enthousiast. But I have to say that this I really like. Idea is very original, I like the size. Has the right feel. good colors. And the work into all the details like AC units and such. Really great work.

Thanks for your reactions, later on I will tell how to paint Multicam (my way)
For now I'm working on a new one with a lot of US Army soldiers all ACU painted
with two M1151 and a M1117 but that's for later on this year.
Next week some photos of an older diorama ' Operation Al-Fajr ' 2004 Fallujah.
Need to refurbish some damaged details, then take some pictures.
All the buildings are scratchbuild, I like to make my own in a simple way.

Great work!! That has a very 'real-life' feel to it.
Is it supposed to be an SF team?

This weekend, maybe tonight, I'll show another diorama 'Operation Al-Fajr' in 2004. Fallujah street scene after heavy fights an USMC unit taking a prisoner and forcing him to get on his knees, AAVTP7-A1 is rolling in to take him away.
I'll hope you like it.

Great idea to limit the scene to the roof tops only. You captured it very nicely. Looks great.

The Multicam figures are Hobby Fan updated with Live Resin heads and helmets, radiosets and weapons,
The ACU figures are Verlinden conversions and the Iraqi special force trooper is an Evolution figure converted.
For 95 % scratchbuild rooftop and accersoires.

It's scratchbuild, it is very simple to do with some Evergreen strips.

I spent 38 months in Iraq, flying airborne surveillance missions in support of ops...seeing this dio brought back a LOT of memories! I've seen this type of scene, from this vantage point many times! GREAT job!
