The weathering is fantastic! And really nice idea for the kit.

She's looking great but I have to comment on the forks, mainly the tips, see they lost all paint within 3-4 weeks of getting fitted, do what we call 'slicing' a pallet (half forks under to get a longer reach onto a trailer) a few times and nothing but bare steel can be seen, same with the rust, the forks and most of the carry plate (the part connected to the forks) would be more bare metal than rust. That's not to say it doesn't happen of course. Also remember that connects forks slide left and right, so the guide bars wouldn't get rusty but would lose paint very fast. I will try and get a pic for you tonight to help

Excellent work on this little beast, Seb.

How did you archieve the 3tone chipping effect? All with hairspray technique only?

Keep on the good work.
cheers

Seb,

Following my last comment I've looked at some on my pictures and to be honest, your model matches them more than I realized. The only one that doesn't is my current truck and the company I now working with are very poor at looking after there trucks. I feel that your model is just right for a normal fork lift and there is little need for attempting any changes, great work mate!

Maybe not "modern armor", but that forklift looks like it went through war.. or two months at the warehouse I used to work at.
