Hooray-hey. I finally finished my Academy M-18 Hellcat. I think this one just might have a chance at a medal in a show. View it in my gallery, I don't have a clue on how to put a link in to the site, but once you get there , there isn't much in it yet. I'll be adding tons later now that I finally figured out how to post photos into it

Thanks for posting these so everyone can see. To Mr Roo, it is weathered, I think the flash kinda makes the effect go away. I don't overdo it at first because I might eventually put it in a diorama and want to make sure the dusting matches the color of dirt I am using. Myadvice on this kit (academy) is to OOB it. I think I wasted my money on the PE set. In fact the only reason I used the fender skirts wasto get some value out of the set, and I have this thing about bending up fenders.

Nice kit!!! Is it just looks to me a bit too glossy. Gosh you reminded me I'm in this GB too, and I'm so far behind with my scratchbuilding !!!
Ciao
