Hi

I am building a large scale military diorama of the D-Day Landings based on the movie the longest day. The scene is the Battle for Ouistreham. The diorama is 7ft long and 5 ft wide..My question is the river basin in chicken wire covered with plaster cloth and flex paste by woodland scenics and the sea wall is foam painted bricks glued to birch wood that runs along the river.. I cant use REAL WATER because it might dissolve the foam bricks..has anyone ever hear of Magic Water. I talked to the owner of the product and it wont effect the foam bricks/basin etc. Has anyone ever used the product??

Is that the stuff from Woodland Scenics? Is it the liquid or wax based water? If it the wax based material I would stay away from it.
I used another Woodland Scenics water and it was pretty good. It is called Realistic Water. DO NOT used E-Z water.

I have to agree with Mike, dont use E-Z water. Ive tried it on my railroad layout and it turned out to be a disaster. The stuff shrinks, yellows somewhat as it cures and bubble galore. I believe you have to pour it in layers (who has time for that especially if it is a big layout like yours)....anyway, thats all I could tell ya. Good luck!
