hey all,
Im cutting up and "articulating" some DML HVSS suspension for a M-51 and was currious about something..
When the foward boogy compressed, mainly the foward most arm, did the roadwheels actully slide "in between" the sprocket teeth? There seems to be room, and otherwise I dont see how the foward boogy would be able to compress very far if it didnt. Anybody have any pictures or know?
Thanks!
Andy

Hmmm ... gotta go look at some pictures to be 100% sure, but here's an educated guess.
They should fit between the sprockets. The road wheels only contacted the inside track pads, while the sprockets meshed with the end connectors -- which are outside the track pads.
But then again, they may not have had that much swing to get that high ...
Good question. I gotta go dig out some books and have a look.
