I somehow ran into these images of modified Lk5's on a Euro truck forum. Taken in the O.B.B. yard in Vienna in the 70's. Note the removed front road wheels, and it said the engine was only run to drive the generator for the crane, so it became part of a diesel-hauled work / wreck train to get to the project site. They still slide the counterweight down for transport, but don't want to bother compacting the crane, so keep it in operational state and added a boom-car.
