I'm also looking to venture into WWI trucks.

Really, really extraordinary work. And the idea of venturing into the WWI trucks is very interesting. Will these be of 1/24 scale as well or would you be looking at making parts for existing 1/35 kits? Looking forward to seeing much more!

I don't see scale as an issue, my thoughts are on 1/24th as I love the bigger scale, but I can build to any scale. It is just a matter of rescaling the full sized, down, and adjusting for thickness on the resin output.

Well, it should come as no surprise that my vote is for the larger 1/24th scale. But then I suppose it could be argued that I am a little biased in that regard. Whatever the scale you decide to create in, your work is awesome and I'd love to see more of it.

Very interesting.....

A neat solution to the hub issue, doing them as 2 separate parts, & an easy mod if you wanted to produce twin wheels.

what's your secret for getting the tread blocks so precise? And, any reason you are casting in semi-transparent resin?

Graeme

With the right information, the computer programme can be drawn at 1:1 scale taking all dimensions into account !!!!!!!! I commissioned Gerry to do the wheels as I was struggling so badly to scratch them in the old fashioned way !!!!!!!!

Howard Whitehead has taken the casting on board with the prototyping firm he uses and is going to add them to his already fantastic military range of 1/24 multi media kits !!!!!

The clear materials are obviously what the prototyping system produce !!!!!!

If you have not seen his Bedford MK or Stalwart ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, have a go look see !!!!!!!!!! Stunning detail and exquisite fit of parts !!!!!!!!

I am sure Howard will be advertising these very soon !!
