Hello Matthew I can not dull the surface of my work, the finished oil washing step one or two coats of acrylic matte vallejo but the surface is glossy as I do? Thanks for your help

Hello Sergio,
you'd better use an artist matt varnish. The brand I'm used to is Pebeo. It's an acrylic varnish and gives you a perfect matt look.

Give your Oil filters and washes several days to really dry. Once dry, they will loose some of their shine. An easy way to tell is that the order is gone. Then I seal with Testors Dullcoat. It's a lacquer based product, so take the proper precautions. I've been using it for more then 40 years without any problems or issues.

I had the same issue with other brands when i didn't mix it properly, try that first.
