I agree, another to add the build queue, but I may have to live to 175 to get through the entire queue, as I seem to keep adding to it.

This is great news! Not only because it's something different, but it also is an indication that someone there is thinking about the early war designs. Hopefully the MkIII A through D series plans are lurking on someone's desk.

Oh, WOW! Another Panzer I Ausf F!

I mean, hey! This should be a great little item indeed - HB has done some pretty nice stuff and so I expect that this kit could be a pretty well done item.

But the Panzer I-F table will maybe get crowded, as there is also, I believe, a new one coming from another big maker... Bronco, IIRC.

Hey. I won't complain if there are suddenly TWO new kits of this ugly little armored duckling. I'm sure to buy at least one!

Me neither. Hopefully they do a better job and avoid the mistakes they made with the VK 601. Its always good with a choice ... keeps the companies on their toes. May the best kit win.

Be aware. I bought a VK 601 that looks to have the same chassis and the tracks don't fit.

This has been pretty well reported.

Basically the teeth on the sprockets and the corresponding holes in the tracks are of diffeerent pitch - so the track doesn't go round the sproket.

There are quite a few other problems with the VK 601 but the tracks are the showstopper.

If HB have sorted out the track problem then they should be making free replacements available for customers who bought the VK 601.

Cheers,

Nigel

I've had a look at the spues on the Hobby Boss site and hopefully this one shouldn't suffer like the VK 601.

The tracks are different, using link and run rather than all link.

The track and sprocket will be different too, the VK 18 sprocket has 16 teeth whilst the VK 601 has 22.

Cheers,

Nigel
