I went to my first modeling show today, the 4th Annual Fort Carson Armor Show put on by the Armor Plastic Modeling Society, or at least that's what I understood them to be called.

Here is a sample.

For more photos you can see them at this site.

There was some very good work here, though my pictures didn't do them justice. I could only stay for a little while, as my wife was with me and she had plenty of 'honey dos' for me today.

I also took a quick drive around the base and I have GOT to go back to take more pictures. I saw two 155 Long Toms, three M47 or M48 tanks, a M4 Sherman, looking pretty sad actually, a Heuy, and several other vechicles.

Those are some cool pics, thanks for sharing! It lets those of us stationed everywhere else see what others are doing in other places.

Howdy Halfyank,

That was the show I was so diligently trying to build an entry for before I got so side-tracked with my T2K build-up! Are you telling me you live nearby the Base? If so, I live up in Denver, Aurora, to be exact. We should get together if you have a mind. Please PM me off-thread about it if you're interested. :-)
Back to your post. Looked like a decent show. I didn't know how many entries would show up. Also didn't know how many servicemen would participate. Is the photo showing the table with entries early in the show, or later?
Speaking of the vehicles to look at on base, have you seen the B-52?

Tread.
