Hi guys,

I'm just starting to put together some of the Miniart British Tank Riders (NW Europe)

They go together very well, only need to tweek them a little.

My main question is what colours for the uniform, I've painted the main tunic & trousers with Vallejo English Uniform 70.921, and the gaiters on the trousers with 70.988 Khaki but it looks too dark.

The instructions say for the webbing etc to be Vallejo 882 Khaki. Can anyone help?

There was a wide variation in colour from a light buff to a light olive grey/green.

A good guide to the colour of british webbing is the Kharkee web site

Another good internet resource on Blanco

http://www.blancoandbull.com/

Used to have to put the damn stuff on our webbing every week in the cadet force at school. Never thought I would be so interested in it 40 years later!
