Just wondering if anyone can tell me what colour is correct (or near enough) for Russian WW2 Gaz & Zis trucks?
I use Humbrol enamels and Tamiya acrylics so the paint number/colour in these brands would be appreciated.

Hi,
Grab your self the 4BO Russian Green Modulation Set 553 from AK Interactive, you won’t go far wrong, I will admit to being sceptical about the modulation "process" but now I love it, it’s added a dimension to my painting that I cannot do without now.

sorry not available here and I do not wish to order paints from overseas due to post restrictions here. Thanks for the reply though.

I've seen a few color photographs of Russian WWII vehicles, next to American tanks. Even if the photo has been remastered, the color difference can be inferred. Tamiya acryl Olive Green is the closest color I have seen to 4BO green. It should be just a shade darker than Tamiya acryl OD. Alternatively, you could add a very small amount of dark blue to Tamiya's OD.
