I am looking for a cheap way to thin and clean acrylics, mainly clean. Deos just plain water work for cleanup? I will be using an air brush most the time with it. Same thing with future, do you thin it before spraying, and what do you clean the airbrush with after using it? Thanks for the help

Windshield washer fluid, the blue stuff that goes for 98¢ in a gallon jug at Wal-Mart. Can't get too much cheaper.

You can also use Windex though its not as cheap as the Windshield washer fluid.

Thats exactly what I am looking for, thanks. I heard you need to put down some future floor wax if you are going to weather or wash with oil paints. do you just shoot it right through the airbrush or do you thin it with anything, and does it clean up with water?

I spay the Future straight (unthinned). And I clean the AB with amonia. A base with Future or any gloss is great for putting on the decals. Than you can weather, than dull coat...if it's armor.

Hi!
Alcohol also works for acrylics, but I never used Future ever!
Cheers!

Future has got to be the cheapest acrylic clearcoat available. A one liter container for about $4. You can't get a one ounce bottle of a manufacturer's clearcoat for that amount.
