Here are some photos of a K1A1 I've been working on. The kit is the much criticized Trumpeter model. It's the first tank with a camouflage paint scheme I think I did well on. Next time,though, I plan on,potentially, using silly putty to get sharper edges on the camo.

It looks good but the pictures are a bit dark to comment on the paint.
Could you post pictures of the front end?

The model looks great! but the paintjob has to much overspray if you ask me... maybe you can fix that with a small brush and just painting the edges?
I one built the academy version with Legend stowage set! you can check my K1A1 here
Good luck with the rest!

It does have have too much overspray. Unfortunatly, its already been weathered. Although I do plan on getting a another Korean tank and doing the camouflage masked with silly putty. What's frustrating, though, is that there doesn't seem to be a really nice paint match out there for the obscure Korean camouflage.
Sorry about the poor quality photos Bison. I had difficulty finding the right light to photograph it in. I think I may have found some better light. I may also try natural light if that doesn't work out. Also, I'll be sure to get some photos of the front to.

Hi Aaron;
Dont take in Stock too much about Hard Edge Camo-Paint. Soft Edge can be used in the Weathering Process as a Natural effect, a Tank thats been in the Field will have a Dull or Soft Effect on the Demarcation line that seperate the colors. Korean roads were very Dusty in the Summer, And take it from Me, very Hard on a Vehicle. Driving on the Dirt roads up near the DMZ a Tank Lost colors fast. Even with the quality of your pics, it Looks Pretty Good too me.
CHEERS; MIKE.

Accurate or not, the camo looks awesome! I do look forward to your future build. Be careful on touch ups. Brushed on paint normally has a different cast to it than paint sprayed on.

Here are some better pictures. I've also fitted the tracks that would stick to no known adhesive known to man. I'm also nearly done with weathering :although, I may dust the tracks a bit more to tone the red-brown down. I've lost the M2 mount, so I'll have to scratch build that. This time I've taken pictures of the front.
I may add some homemade camo netting. I will also have to add stowage. I tried experimenting with drab and tan coloured duffle bags, and I wasn't pleased with how they contrasted the paint. I think olive green stowage would serve as a nice contrast to tan/green camo netting stored in the turret bustle.
