The recent solar spot activity might have distorted the time-space continuum and momentarily transported you through a wormhole. Don't worry. It's happened to me on more than a few occasions. You get used to it after the first couple times.
Seriously, that is a really impressive build. I would've sworn I was looking at the real deal. The railing was the only thing that gave it away. Is this a resin kit; or, did you scratchbuild the set?

Looks great. Very nice build. The forthcoming Meng D9R Armored Dozer would look great as a load on it.

wouldn't that be too heavy for the M870? I pictured a M1070 hauling that.

A different tractor (USMC 7-ton MTVR tractor), but it is similar to an M870, looks to be the same weight class anyways.
Another on an M870, unknown tractor.
If it can carry this, it should be able to carry the Armored D9.

According to the TM, the maximum payload of the M870 trailer is 40 tons (36,287kg). An civilian (unarmored) D9R weights about 108,000 lbs (48,784 kg)....
I guess the dozers in Gino's pics are armored D7s similar to this one :

Nice build Vince, I like how the base doesn't really have an 'end' to it as well as the weathering on the wooden deck.

Oh well, maybe it is a little over weight for it, but Soldiers don't really look at the weight before loading. If it fits, it rolls.
Another option would be the Mig front loader or an AFV Club M9 ACE.
I would keep the load as some type of engineer equipment though.

There are a few 1/35th scale diecasts made by Joal that would maybe fit the bill (as civilian contractor equipment) with a few added details and some weathering...
