Hi every1!
What would be the right colour for Tiger "121"? Turret numbers on decalsheet are with white outline and transparent on center. Should it be dark yellow or maybe U.S. OD?

I think this model Tiger has the right colours, but the wrong way around. The brown would be the base colour, inside the digits.
There are accuracy problems with the Tamiya Afrika Tiger.

I agree with David. You can find color photos of wrecked Tunisian Tigers that corroborate this, and also veterans of the Tunisian campaigns have also corroborated the "Green" color. It is clear from the BW photos that the tanks are not yellow. I think it is actually greenish-brown, one of the Troppen Scheme colors, or perhaps both of them. RAL 8000/8020 .
Hope this helps.

Thx guys!
I think I skip "121" from my options, mixing right colour or even close to it with Humbrol would be nerve cracking.. I think I'll stick with "731" or "813".

Sorry David
But didn't quite understand your reply..
But anyway, can someone tell the right colour for turret numbers of Pz.III Ausf.N of 501? I just boughed Tamiya Pz.III N and found some Tamiya AM decals back home and there was decals for "06" Pz.III Ausf.N. Problem is they were red/white but drawing on TiF shows them black/white..?

I mean, the same 2 camouflage colours were apparently used on all the Tigers of the unit. But I suppose you'll have an easier time with the red-filled digits.

Hi all!
This is not about the colour but how much or which parts from DML Initial Tiger I (6252) can be swap into Tamiya DAK Tiger I?? I boughed partially assembled DML kit and it's destiny will be spareparts donor. I mean, if parts are same size but DML is better detailed, I could use them in Tamiya?

A better way to go would be to use a Dragon kit as a base, and then add the specific Tunisian Tiger parts to it. I have done this with a Dragon Initial Tiger and it worked well. The Dragon parts tend to be much more accurate, but as you are well aware there are many different variants so you need to do your homework. And as always, which tank or unit do you want to model? The Tigers of 501rst PD in Tunisia were VERY different from the 504th PD Tigers.
Hope some of this is helpful.

I can add that the Tigers within s.Pz.Abt. 501 had variations, and I would put them in 3 groups!
