There are a number of HMMWVs not specifically mentioned by model number in the available TMs. Its possible that these manuals are simply long since gone, but its also possible that there was no specific manual for variants with limited fielding like the M1109. The automotive components would have been the same as for any A1 series HMMWV, so it would have been possible to just use the existing TMs, plus some additional literature (such as a supplementary TB) for maintenance purposes.

That being said, there's very little formal information in general on the M1109 unfortunately.

Go to LOGSA

Whatever is available for HMMWV's, and doesn't have security restrictions, will be found at the site.

Typing "HMMWV" in the "Pub Title Text" box yields 34 different publications, BTW.

Yes we can ! Just ignore the certificate error warning you may get from IE. I've managed to get over it using Mozilla Firefox or Chrome...Only the access to the most recent/sensitive equipment is restricted.

Thanks a lot for all replies

At hmmwvinscale.com I've found a TM number for M1109 (TM 9-2320-280-10), but there's nothing about this specific version in it...

I've found LIN number (T07746) too, but LOGSA shows nothing searching by it...

I've got NSN number (NSN 2320-01-389-7558), maybe there is something under it at armypropert.com, but I guess I can't find it. And even if so, I can't look at it being an average person...

So, those several photos I've got on my HD have to be all my references to build a model of M1109

Kuba, avoid army property dot com, and any similar sites offering to sell military manuals, like the plague. They are nothing but scamming s-bags who rip off the unsuspecting customer. Why? Because they charge money for something that is available from the U.S. Government for free. All that crap about "limited previews" unless you buy the CD is just that - CRAP! These companies aren't doing anyone any favors by compiling free stuff on CD's?DVD's, then charging for it. A lot of these operators like to stick a copyright logo on their sites in an attempt to imply that they hold exclusive rights to the publications. Well, in truth, they don't; and, neither does the U.S. Government:

For future reference, you can also go to:

www.liberatedmanuals.com

This is a non-governmental source for literally thousands of FREE FM's, TM's, TB's, etc.

Thanks Joseph I wasn't going to pay for any materials of course.

Back to M1109 - I'm pretty sure, that this name of version doesn't exist in any TM or similar. I've looked at TM 9-2320-280-10 and others page by page, and haven't found any drawing showing parts cpecific for M1109 (weapons ring, heater channel inside and rear compartment body)

Try a Google search for "HMMWV sub-variants", "field/unit-modified HMMWV types" or something along those lines. Google is stupid, as far as specific terms are concerned. You sometimes need to generalize every now and then in order to achieve results.
