hi all, i have complted a ww2 d day inland diorma of the german in thier trenches, for op, cover up, my question is, one the sides of the walls where the dirt is do you have to have support boards the are horizontal or can you just put in some posts, ??//

I would highly recommend horizontal 2x4 boards between vertical support beams. Otherwise the shelling would cause those trenches to fill with the dirt shaken loose by the impacts. Is this what you're asking?
