Finished this one this week after a long time without making any models...
1.Primer and filler
2.Black shading with Tamiya XF-1
3.Greys, green and earth colours all Tamiya also
4.Sealed with Pledge
5.Oil washes
6.Sealed it with Vallejo Model Air Matt but it didnt work very well. It gave everything a white-ish hue and didnt dull the surfaces. Ended up using Testors Dullcoat which got the job done wonderfully but all the nuances created with oils were ruined by Vallejo's product..
7.Various types of static grass/flockings

Given the amount of offering in 1/48 scale, I probably couldn't even cover the cost in materials, as it's already hard in 1/72.
Small scale models is what I've been building during all these years, it's much more of a passion than "business", I just try to sell some stuff I come up with...to spend on more models! I'm always willing to share what I've learned about scratch building and resin casting, thought.
(sorry about my english)

Francisco, your English is better than mine, I really like your work, perhaps when I have a more substantial income i may have to pick up one of your pieces! ( note to other readers, the items are quite affordable. )

For such a small scale the detailing is awsome...
The lighter is great

Hi Francisco. Very nice little model. Good details and very well finished. I know many modellers who are passionate about models in this scale and would love models like should they be easily available.

Thank you all for your kind comments, they make me want to fire up the air compressor and paint another diorama I was working on but that was slowly becoming a shelf queen
Meanwhile I found a photo that shows what I had in mind when I put this one together. I really enjoy the imagery of the first years of the war, the invasion of Poland and France, all those vehicles advancing through the fields with the soldiers on foot. Maybe the kubelwagen broke down and was put on the side of the road to let the rest of the column pass through...
