I don't think they ever did. They had an M50 built on an M4A4 hull which used a French 155 gun. AEF (ahem) sells one, but you could scratch build one more easily.

The M12 was not used outside of the US Army. The IDF M-50 155mm SPH was very similar in style to the American M40. It mounted the French M50 155mm howitzer, also used by the IDF in the towed mode. The AEF kit represented the later version used in 1973 and after. It is mostly good as a template for building your own.
