Why Can't I Change My Rank Selection?

I checked my profile, to see the new ranks. It won't let me change my selection, because I am not a supporter. Why is that?

I believe some of the new ranks are only available to subscribers as a little extra, are one of those what you are trying to select?

Jim has added a lot of new ranks and is continuing to do so and it is now a perk for those who are contributing financially to the site. Just so that you are aware it is not just you I cannot select a ranking system either.

I can understand new ranks not being available, but why can't I select from the old ranks?

I suspect because they are all in the same place and so have to either be selectable by all or by members who have certain rights.

I can be happy with what I have. I just don't think that the site is hurting, with having a sponsor.
