This is the Airfix jackal and i must say this is a super little kit and i feel good value for money.

The stowage is a mix of Tamiya for the fuel cans and the back packs come from the Airfix Op Herric troops.
Hope you like folks and all comments welcomed

You are the master of Airfix 1/48.
Questions. What exactly was the colour paint you used for the seats, etc.and which Tamiya kit for the cans? Also, did you get extra figure sets in order to use the backpacks?
Just looks great.

Hi Tom.
Thanks mate for the kind comments , the paint i use for the seats is Tamiya XF57 Buff and for the body of the vehicle i used Model Masters 2137 British Gulf Armour Light Stone.
The Tamiya set i used for the jerry cans is item 32510 which is a WW 2 set but the British cans are very much the same so will do the job abd when fitted in the racks look okay. With regards to the Figures yes i did buy them just for the packs but im sure at some point i will use them for a diorama. I am though looking forward to the crew figures coming out from Airfix.
Neil.

Also fantastic! Have you done the WMIK yet? I can't wait for the Quads in October.

Many thanks for the comments , yes i have built the WMIK and if you look on the British Armour page you will see it there with another version of the Snatch which is called the Vixen Plus.
