I have just noticed something quite interesting on a page of Tamiya official website dealing with their "new" M1A2 : a pic showing it along with the 2 already released Humvees..... AND 2 AAVs with EAAK and what seems to be OIF markings :-) :-) :-)

Thanks Matt. After a quite amusing translation from Japanese into French I'm afraid this was too good to be true...The picture was linked to a Fair which is to be organized in a few days in Japan

Now let's go back to my EAAK scratchbuilding project

Rumor has it that Blast is supposed to come out with the EAAK converison....

They are, indeed. I got this information directly from Gilles Peiffer of Blast Models. The kit will include all the parts necessary to convert Tamiya kit to the latest version (except suspension parts, already available as a separate set), so it will include the new exhaust, antenna mounts etc.

Unfortunately they don't plan to make an interior set for aavp7
