These releases looks really good. Not many Japanese figures around, and those russian infantry seems nice. Could they be used for the Russian/Finnish winter war 1939-40?

really nice to see Dragon getting back into some interactive "themed" figures, and ones that are doing something other than standing around! Those Soviet poses look great!

Awesome! There is such a gap in Japanese figures (slowly being remedied but many of those kits are somewhat lacking) that it is great to see more.

Ahh, Russians. It's about time my Germans had something to go against. It's really cool to see a Japanese kit again from dragon. Those had been gone for a while

If you removed the Japanese Officer's pistol, he could be made to look like he's pointing at something, that would be different wouldn't it?

It will be great to have more Japanese infantry. I wish they would add tank crew. The figure released only in Japan for the type 95 would have been a superb addition.

IMO, the most significant and useful release is the Japanese infantry set - there have been one or two in the last year or so, but nothing like enough.
As to the Soviets, it's very much following a well-trodden path. Both Masterbox and MiniArt have produced a considerable number of sets o this sort and it does suggest 'redundancy' not saying it'll be bad, just not tremendously necessary...

Its good that Dragon is expanding their range of figures . But we need more than just one set of Russians , Japanese , as well as the French and BEF mg crew released last year . More global WW 2 combatants pls Mr D

Yes,there have been Russian sets before but isn't this one a bit different in that it depicts early war?
Nice to see the Japanese set. I always wanted to make a full on Banzai charge ala Guadelcanal beach when the Japanese marines charged the american marines.

Not crazy about either boxart, but both sets look to have potential and to be useful!

Off the top of my head, both Masterbox and MiniArt have placed a lot of emphasis on early-War sets (above the middle/late war ones). Not criticism, more an observation...
Japanese (and Pacific theater) subjects do seem to be getting taken an awful lot more seriousy which can only be good...

How about some more Vietnam era stuff from Dragon. A lot of the kits they made for Nam are OOP and they aren't doing anything new.

It's not really within their vehicle release program is it? They do tend to tie-in (though not always) figure releases with vehicles thet do. Have you checked out the Masterbox Vietnam releses? They have a LOT of potential....
