Gents,
Does anyone know of a set of Soviet/Russian vehicle number stencils that I could use to spray the vehicle number on a T-62MV1(w/ ERA). I want to have a chipped, faded number that was later oversprayed and had a new number appl9ied. I am tracking that Stencil-it has a WWII Russian set but that is all that I have seen. Any recommendations??

I think there's a MIG set floating around. I would check out eBay.

Modelpoint do a set but are probably quite hard to get hold of.

Given that modern Russian tank numbers are just block numbers could you possibly make your own masks but cutting out the numbers from a sheet? Or you could use an old decal sheet and cut out the number masks from that.

Perhaps you could use a vinyl mask from Eduard?

Hey John,

I have the Stencilit set #S1004 WWII Soviet numbers, unit symbols and Cyrillic lettering if you want to borrow it.

PM me your snail-mail addy, and I'll fire it off to you. If you're going to be at the AMPS International Show in Atlanta next month, you can just hand 'em back if you're done.

HTH,

Gentlemen,
Thanks for the recommendations. I tried E-Bay for the MiG option to no avail but did find a set Soviet/Russian number masks from ModelPoint which should fit the bill.

Mike,
Thanks for the offer, if the ModelPoint set does not work out, I might take you up on that loan.

John
