Ola guys
Between all the projects currently on going I needed something that could be finished quickly. So I picked up Miniart's excellent PK-42 Field Kitchen and set to work. Built it OOTB and so far after all the painting it looks like this
And I filmed every step of the way since I wanted to try to create a Timelapse movie of the whole project. I wanted to do that for a long time and finally last week I found out how to do it. It is my first time I do this so some shots are a bit out of focus but still I'm pretty pleased with the result. This is part 1 and deals with painting. Part 2 that is coming soon will deal with weathering. All I can say is sit back and enjoy.

Very interesting. I like what you are doing, both on the model and with the photography. You have put interesting thoughts in my head...

Thanks for the reply. And thanks for the compliments. I am very curious what I managed to trigger in your head man

You have created a very interesting presentation. I liked how it showed your painting style, something that is often missed in a set of photos. Watching your movements, seeing the paint flow, etc...but it was not just raw footage either, I liked how the stop motion worked as well. Makes me think of trying something like that someday.

Well to tell you the truth. I started this as an experiment to see if it would work. I'm currently working on an article on figure sculpting and for some steps I have to resort to footage to show a certain step as photographs simply do not convey that story the right way. Plus I need both hands for those steps
looking forward to your efforts. I found it quite easy to do. Even with the simple limited software I used.

Thanks for the compliments. Glad you like the contents of the kettle. The soldiers chow will be potato and carrot stew
