Is there any review available about the detail, accuracy and building problems of the BTR70 APC LATE VERSION kit (#01591)? Is it better than the Zvezda kit? It sure has a plus since it comes with full interior but what about the rest details?

If it's anything like the Trump BTR-60PB sitting in my closet, it's years ahead of the Zvezda BTR-70 I built a few months ago.

I've just started building the early version, so far the fit is great, instructions pretty good and detail excellent. I'm not an expert on russian vehicles so I can't comment on the accuracy but so far it's been an enjoyable build.

I am working on a review of the BTR-70 early right now. Will try to get it done before I die.

So far, I will say that it is FAR better than the DML/Zvezda version.

It is a good kit, my only issue is that there is no detail for the passenger compartment in the upper hull, but this is strangely not the case for their BTR-60PB.

although it's in Russian, http://panzer35.ru/forum/46-10859-1 and
http://panzer35.ru/forum/60-9862-1 give a pretty good idea of what's in store, it looks pretty darn nice !
I'm forcing myself to build one more of the DML kits before picking this one up.
