Now this (more so than the previous volume for me) duality efinitely looks like a must have.

I have to admit, that initially, I was a touch skeptical about this series - not because of the modelers involved but more or the fact there are a number of (seemingly) similar books out there. However, seeing the presentation and the quality of the images of the actual pages, i'm convinced.

Any chance of a future title dedicated exclusively to figures? We really could do with a 'definitive' of this type...

Thanks Jim! I am contemplating my future product portfolio, and honestly for now it will cover vehicles on all sorts - tanks, planes, trains, sci-fi and so on, as we grow and move forward. Figures for me is a bit tricky because I am not very good at them. It will require working with some world-class painters and sculptors and then guide their text and images to fall into the format I've created. A lot of the information that I write about with the armor really defines this series vs. other similar products so I want to maintain that element on everything we produce.

It's definitely doable, but will take time and effort to add such a series. But it is on our discussion table for the future.

Best,

Mike

Vol. 1 is great, and I think that there is definitely room for high quality how to-books. Inspirational values alone are priceless.

(the wife is now convinced i am crazy). i have bought alot of how to books before and none of them compare to detail and in sight. but i am still keeeping the shepard Pain books. I can not wait for vol 2. i am just coming back to the hobby after more years then i care to mention and this vol 1 has answered a lot questions i had on painting my current model. so truly thank you. very nice.

Whoo hoo, shipping soon! Can't wait, though I realized you're a brave man, tackling "accurate" US olive drab AND Soviet 4B0?! No controversies associated with those. . .

What sort of Science Fiction? I'd love to see a book of this quality on Gundam modeling.

Science Fiction of this style of book would include Ma.K, Gundam, Star Wars, Robotech and so on, stuff in that vein. Obviously, there are a ridiculous amount of subjects to look at, including some very cool stuff from shops like Kallamity and Industrial Mechinka, which I'm keen to illustrate and explore. I doubt I'll have a shortage of subjects to choose from.

I ordered Vol 1 and 2 last Friday - did the combo pack at $5 off each and reduced shipping. The info I got was that they got them from the publisher Monday, 4-15, and should be shipping Thursday or Friday.

Hi Scott, I always keep our website and Facebook updated frequently, forums are usually the last place I post dates on just because it takes a lot of time get through them all. Anything related to our products, it's best to check in those spots first.

Yes, the book went in-stock and shipping has commenced...thanks!

So my pre-order will be hand delivered by cherubs at my car today? Kidding, I think.
