Cad images look great. I'd like to know the marking options, but this is another kit to get.

Looks like this could be pretty cool on a shelf!
So.... Is this really just that Cyber Hobby version with pontoons in a new box with some different markings? I wouldn't complain, as having the amphibious tank with the pontoons is what I wanted from the first - and that option became a CH white-box adventure in higher finance (than I want to spring for, for a build kit). And it did seem somehow rather "mainstream" and not some one-off thing - the Type 2 being designed to have pontoons and being an in-service type and all.
So... maybe someone will know whether there was a set of magictrack links for this - I'm no fan of those DS things, but if that's all you can get...
Just as an aside for the "bring out something NEW, why don't you (D)?" discussions... this, even though there has been both the D kit without pontoons, and that CH WB kit with, does come to us mainstreamer builders as pretty new, and a pretty interesting addition to the available Japanese line-up, I would say!
And.... There is that super-cool detailing thread going on with the CH kit here on Armorama... just very timely, lads, TIMELY! That will speed up building THIS one, I'm sure!

I am glad to see this one come along as well. The late Ka-mi is a wonderful addition and i shall be glad to add it to the collection. Love the idea of this on Leyte....
Dragon is to be commended for this as well as the their upcoming IJA infantry set . Keep 'em coming...
