Hello,

I am a new guy. I am considering getting a RC Tank. I posted an ad here and on another smaller forum looking for any clubs or just persons also interested in RC Tanks in my area. I live near Martinsburg, WV. But I have not found anyone close that is also interested. I have also visited Hobby/RC shops from Frederick, MD to Chantilly, VA looking for clubs/persons interested. There just doesn't seem to be anyone in my region.

So, I am just going to jump in there and buy one to play with.

I would like to upgrade it at some point to have the following......
- Slower more realistic gears/speed
- metal suspension
- correct length barrel (I think this Tiger I barrel is too short??)
- Maybe upgrade the airsoft gun?? Since putting in a IR is pointless if there is no one to engage..LOL.
- Oh, and of course eventually repaint it and add some cool decals. Prob go with 1st SS or 12th SS at Normandy for paint/decal scheme. not sure yet.

If I enjoy it I might even pick up another Tank........prob a M4 Sherman or M24 Pershing.........or even a Soviet KV-1.

Any advice or experience you might want to share with me........would be greatly appreciated.
