What type of bridge? wood? Stone? suspension?
Is this a rural stream bridge, canal bridge, river bridge?

I have a picture from the "Encyclopedia of British and Amarican Tanks of WWII" with an M-16 guarding Remagen bridge. That is the only real pic i know of, byt it doesn't describe the unit, and it is a decent size bridge. I do believe it is a RR bridge.

When you ' re lookin' for trouble with planes, a bridge doesn' t seem to be the best place to park, methink !
Look at the one, on the picture...!

Are you going to have a SPAA guarding a bridge that was already blown up, ala the photograph? What is the rationale for parking out there in the open if you are worried about aircraft and your defensive objective has already been destroyed?
Of course, the real reason those guys are parked up there could be a.) the vehicle was disabled/destroyed in the attack or b.) they are trying to cross the river and found the bridge in this condition already. Who knows?
I do like 'ramas with rails.

if you look at the photo close enough you can see some one scanning the sky with some bino's now look at position of the barrels now to the left hand side of the picture there seems to be a ridge of sorts maybe that the AA 1/2 track has went onto the bridge to get a little higer elevation to clear the ridge?

in the dio the bridge is still in tact with some minor destructuion nothing to make it collapse and the plane would be in the water destroyed
