Hi Everyone,
I am just posting my latest project, an ICM SdKfz 222 in the Western Desert 1941. I will be using the 'hairspray technique' to do the chipping of the Desert Sand, revealing the original Panzer Grey underneath. I am trying to find some suitable crew figures, there are only three to find, how hard can it be .
Probably harder than I imagine as there are not that many really good Braille figures still, I suppose I will have to learn to sculpt . Anyway here are the progress shots of the vehicle just prior to the painting stage...
I made a 'tear' in the cover of the spare wheel, the torn piece was represented by a scrap of lead foil from a dental X-ray plate.
After priming...
That's it for now, next update I will have the paint on it.
