An update on the upcoming German Brandenburg figures from Dragon Models, looks like they will soon be available.

Hmmm I guess these figures will find their fans. The poses are good. But my god is that ugly thing going to be the boxart? The new DML Stug also comes with a boxart of the same ugliness. Did Volstad stop painting them for dragon or something?

I couldn' agree more with you, Faust. The figures must be awesome, but the boxart.... not so good... IMHO at least.

Yeah I think some parts of it are- I remember getting a Zvezda Russian Paratroopers kit to review from armorama and the box art was quite similar- computer drawn figures with a photo background a bit like this Dragon box- not very nice to look at compared to some of their previous box art.

I reckon the figures themselves will be nice and the Brandenburg subject should probably prove fairly popular.

I guess I'm just happy to some new 'dio figure' sets. I agree with all here in that you just can't beat Ron Volstad's art. His artwork is what got me in to diorama building. I get the impression his work is very time consuming and stressful. Now then, If we can just get some more zeltbahn wearing figures
