I know that many US Chaplins had "Cross" insiginas on helmets, however I have no references for British Chaplins. Does anyone have any sort of information or offer any direction to references to Anglican Chaplins?
Thanks
Jay

British Chaplins will have worn the same uniform as the men and will gereally carry in their gear the stuff they need for communion or a service in the field. The only insignia will have been on their lapels and they will have a cross for all except for a Star of David for any Rabbis' (spelling looks wrong).
All British Chaplins will be a minimum of Captain but mostly Major and above in rank.

Hope this helps

Sam
