Like several other modellers these last few days, I have one more question about the Bradley : many reference pics I have about the A2 version show that the lower, "T" shaped, part of the armour plating located on the right side of the turret, under the antenna mount (get the picture ?) has been replaced by a "triangular" one : is it a ODS Bradley feature ?
TIA

Frenchy,
From the Brads' that I have served on and seen over here in Iraq, it is an additional armor piece. I have seen it on non-ODS brads as well as ODS models. Just another armor upgrade for better protection for the turret. HTH "Q"

It seems to be part of ODS upgrade package, although not all upgraded vehicles have this additional armor plate:
This one has it:
But this one doesn't:

I never seen a Bradely with the armor like that before. I'm willing to bet money that the T shaped one is the older M2A2's (which some have had some ODS upgrades) and the one with the Angled armor are new production M2A2 ODS from the Factory. An interesting compairson would be with the 4ID's M2A3 (which have been very unphotogentic in OIF so far) to see if they have this armor aragment on them

Thanks for the photos. These will help with the small scale Bradley I'm just starting to weather!

OMG...is that a GI painting the road wheel rubber on that M2A3? In all my time in Army we never painted the rubber on the road wheels LOL #:-) #:-) Even if its was a big time inspection
