Hey there,
I already tried my question in the painting area... without result, so I'll give it a new try in this section.
I already searched the forum and google and found certain information, but I am not 100% confident. So I need your help. I want to do an early OIF diorama with a transportation unit/scene. I know wich unit I want to do, but I don't know the bumper markings for sure...
I want to do a hummvee and a M923. Both should be part of the 418th Trans Co, 180th Trans Bn, 4th Sust Bgd, 13th Sust Cmd... and that's a lot of info for just one 1/35 bumper...
Can you guys help me out, which information I should put on the bumpers...
Thanks a lot!
Cheers
G

Hi Gerhard,
If I should make a guess it would be:
13 ESC 180TPT ( left side of the fender )
418-xx ( right side of the fender )
13 ESC= 13 Expeditionary Sustainment Command
180 TPT = 180 transport battalion
418= transport company
xx- platoon number f.i 21= second truck first platoon
Anyone else has a guess ??
Gé
