WoW your wash and use of "weathering pigments" is just awesome!

Thanks, Vince.
I hope to finish this one up this week (my perpetual hope) and move on with a couple of other projects. We'll see....

Well, so much for "plans". In between a job search, preparing the house for sale and looking at a possible relocation, I've managed about two hours at the bench over the last six weeks or so. I may live.
Anyway, while packing up the stash I did manage to squeeze in enough time to finish this, with the exception the the TC's 50 cal, which came from another model. I have no idea which box the proper MG for this one went in, and probably won't find it this year.....
Anyway, the pics, and thanks for looking, as always.
Next may be a Tamiya CharB, since I have to do something completely OOB, or at least with only the goodies that are already in the box, since the stash, and all spare parts, are packed. Although I do have a Magach 6-Mem started, and all those parts are still out....although anything I start may have to get boxed up "as-is", dunno. Gee whiz, Wally.

Hi Russel,
At first I did not like the wash very much. Considering it too reddish and too strong. But with the pigments and the additional weathering everything looks very convincing. The orange blanket gives it just a splash of colour without looking too exagerated. Even the vinyl tracks do not spoil the model but look spot on. Very nice build.
All the best for your future plans
Michael

Thank you, Michael. I had similar misgivings about the wash myself, one of reasons painting is difficult for me to come to grips with.

Fantastic finish! Your build has inspired me to try my hand, at one of these.

Thank you sir. I highly recommend an IDF Sherman now and then, keeps the mind sharp.
Sorry for the late response, lots going on recently, house for sale, in and out of contracts, new job, and on top of all that, my PC crapped out.
