The diorama I am working on is only my second and will be my first using a building, Verlinden's Farmyard #1362. A picture is available at this site: http://www.verlinden-productions.com/vp_htm_1201_1600/vp1362.htm
I'm not certain as to what I should put inside the building, as there is one large opening and a smaller one too. I would like it to represent a farm somewhere in Northern France.

Welcome to the site Comando, glad to have you aboard!
The Farmyard looks like a nice piece. Can't wait to see your dio progress.
Tread.
Hmmm, Farmyard:
A) retreating germans
B) U.S. troops in a Sherman stopping for some fresh eggs.
C) temporary U.S. OP.
D) germans hiding out inside with a U.S. coloumn passing by, including their kubel parked inside under some hay (yeah, a little 'over the top')
Sorry, that's all for 10 seconds of thought. :-)

Actually, I'm planning on using Tamiya's Churchill with the farmer handing the crew some wine with the Farmyard.
To tell the truth, I've never built an American tank, though Tamiya's new Shermans are tempting me.

I'd go for Tread's option B. Maybe in combination with the American Airborne boys enjoying their R&R.

Make sure you put a horse in the end stable.

Excellent suggestion, just don't forget to pick up Verlinden's new 1/35 scale accessory pak entitled ' Road Apples'........

I have that farmyard set from Verlinden too. My plan is to set up the Tamiya Field Kitchen with several figures from Verlinden, Warriors, and Jaguar, all collecting thier chow. I even have a figure of a German cook chasing a dog with a meat cleaver. To dress up the background, I have the old Historex Farmyard set.
