Here are two examples of the ancient Italeri commando car. One is built out of box and the other was mildly modified with an Academy air cooled .50 cal, scratchbuilt Gerry can holder with Gerry cans, moved spare tire and with the straps if the fuel tanks replaced with lead foil.

I still love that little kit despite its age! I built one for my little brother 30 years ago and am now building one for my son to go with one of his video games where he "is" the driver! It went together well and had what I feel was/is acceptable detail for the price. I see Tamiya has now released it with some additional figures and accessories and jacked up the price accordingly! C'mon, it's a 70's vintage kit! Price it as such and maybe more people will buy it! By the way, great job on the finished models. Difficult to tell they are not 'high tech' kits but mostly OOB older kits;this is great to see!
