Hi All,
Does anyone know if there are any decent 1/35 scale MT-LBu drawings on the internet (or elsewhere)?
Regards,
Andy

Hello Andy,
maybe you could find some in a Russian modeling magazine named M-Hobby (or something similar) which is used to provide scale drawings. Hopefully Russian members will pop up to confirm if they exist or not.
Sorry I can't help more.

Yup, but a bit outside my price range and not that easy to get here (UK), not to mention the added import taxes etc...
Be interested on any comments on the accuracy etc. of the SP Designs kits.

Andy

From my own experience, SP Designs first series of MT-LBu kits were so-so. I know Sergej has greatly improved his cast process so the recently cast kits should be better.
The latest kit I bought was a T-80 variant which was really good even if there is still room for extra work.

I would also agree with Olivier in regards that SP Designs kits are always going to need extra work to make them contest winners. There is that balance between price and detail level.
The MT-LBu series is dimensionally accurate in the SP Designs kits. Details are good, but things like weld lines and such require more work on the modellers part. Sergej is pressure casting his kits now, and improving the masters/molds as he goes along. It will never be Minarm level, but the price will also never be at that level.
