Really nice build. How did you achieved the casted metal type surface of the tank?

Thanks everyone for the comments.
Isavn(Peelou75),
In answer to your question, The finished 'tank' was first sprayed with a light grey automotive primer. When that had sufficently dried I rubbed powered graphite on all surfaces with a small piece of cotton.
Cheers,
C.

I really like this one; I am awed by the concept and excution both. Then I started wondering if Popular Science did a follow-up article about a giant golf club/anti-tumbleweed tank weapon. . .

Well done!! I love to see imaginative alternate-history designs like this. Sort of a Steampunk esthetic.

Thanks again for all the comments. Hey Spades, how have you been? It's been a while. I was wondering if any of the old group was still around.

Lou, I know the feeling. I dropped out for a couple years busy with other things on top of a major creative block! Hopefully back into it now!

WOW REALLY NICE WORK! I have been wanting to see more pictures of this thing for years. I seem to remember a model in FSM or GSM a few years back and was really excited by it, is this the same one?
Cheers
