Rarely, if ever, (nowadays) do the distributors have the inside info. on on new releases. this is simple, as there is White-hot competition between the manufacturers, they DON'T announce until they have the box-art/cad images.
I dealt with Bronco for years and they take their security VERY seriously indeed...
One thing I would say, that following some of Bronco's recent releases, it wouldn't be that weird a reléase and would fit into their reléase program...

If this means that that the armor is plastic, and not a PE set included with the kit, then that would be really great.

agreed...I can't imagine how fragile the Bronco kit would be with PE slat on top of it. I am scared to handle the first version!

If the new is real, as the Buffalo L rod set armour is made with square bars so PE is not suitable & totally incorrect.
Speaking about this annouce, first this is a Buffalo, not Buffallo. Buffalo is named MP/CV not MRAP and the armor set is a L-rod set armor not grille armour.
