I just bought one and it looks like a good build.. But I won't be starting it until I get my other projects finished first.

Hi I'm kind of waiting on this one myself. Hope this kit turns out to be all it's suppose to be. I sure would like to see Tamiya come back out with an updated version of their old 1/25 scale Tiger I that they had here about 30+ years ago. This would be neat as well. And one of the big hopes with this Panther kit is some aftermarket stuff to spice it up some. So if I get one here any time soon, I'll put it back untill some detail items come out; PE, metal barrel, things like that.

Take care, sgirty

If it's anything like their Jagdpanther it's an OK kit but nothing to get excited over. The thing that is keeping me away from it is that they have gone away from the individual track links and have made them one piece bands.

The tracks are 2 sections per side.and they are secured w/pins between sections.Sort of like training Fruilis. (++) (++)

Thanks folks!

I gather the hull is still the knock-off of the Tamiya Panther A.

TankCarl,
I saw your RRB item. Any comments on the kit?

I hesitate in buying the kit because of its "pirate" past.

Cheers
Andy
