I'm working on a King Tiger and plan to do a winter white vehicle. Common sense would indicate that the lower hull and underside of the side skirts would remain the yellow base color. Am I correct in my asumption? I can't find any close up photos that show this area. All help will be greatly appreciated..

The wash being applied by a crew would only cover what was obvious and easily reachable judging from the pictures I have seen.

I have seen photos of models showing everything whitewashed except the undersides of course, but the side skirts, wheels and lower hull would quickly wear off and show weathering and mud.Thats what I did with mt Tiger I whitewash-see my gallery for pics.
also try search on the forums for whitewashed Tigers, you might come up with pics.

Thanks for all the input. I painted the hull the base color and just the outer wheel faces white. With a bit of weathering it came out great. I appreciate the help. Now on to the mud..
