I am trying to find a manufacturer of French Mat-49 submachine guns in 1/35th scale. Propoganda Kompanie does make a version, however, the quality is poor and the service proposition lousy. I thought Heller used to make a small arms kit (back in the 70s) which included Mat-49s, but have not been able to locate a kit for sale. Any suggestions will be very welcome.

Hello Peter,
Stefan gave you all the availabilities for the the MAT49 in 1/35. I used to make the search than you some time ago. Italieri did some in their weapon set (I guess it was a rebox of an old heller set), but the quality is of the 70's so really poor compared to today standards. The one in the Dragon box is really sharp, and it's cheap. Finally I advise you to buy the firing para of the Huguette agony from Bravo 6. The kit included a little tool to bend some wire at the correct dimension to make the metallic rifle butt yourself, which dragon does not provide.
Hope this helps.
Best,
Julien
